SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern the SMS messaging program operated by Scenic DriveTrip ("we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and checking an SMS consent box on our website, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. Program description

Scenic DriveTrip offers two distinct SMS programs you may opt into independently:

  • Account Notifications. Transactional messages related to the educational content you requested, including access links, delivery confirmations, and reminders to complete a requested action.
  • Educational Marketing. Recurring marketing and educational messages about new scenarios, guides, and informational updates from Scenic DriveTrip.

Scenic DriveTrip is an educational resource. It is not an insurance company, agent, broker, marketplace, or lead generator. SMS messages are limited to delivery of educational content you have requested and are never used to solicit insurance.

2. Consent

You provide express consent by checking the applicable SMS box on our subscribe page. SMS consent is never bundled with any other consent and is never required to access content on our website. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the program you opted into. You will not receive messages from a program you did not opt into.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details. Scenic DriveTripis not responsible for any carrier fees.

5. Opt out

You can opt out of SMS messages from Scenic DriveTrip at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. After opt-out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from that program. To opt back in, return to our subscribe page and complete the form.

7. First message disclosure

The first message you receive after opting in will identify Scenic DriveTrip, describe the messages you will receive and their frequency, include "Msg & data rates may apply," remind you that you can reply STOP to cancel, and confirm that Scenic DriveTripis not an insurance company or agent.

8. Supported carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, Alltel, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy and information use

Scenic DriveTrip will never sell, share, rent, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or consent records to any insurance carrier, insurance agent, insurance broker, lead aggregator, lead buyer, or third-party marketer. Mobile information collected for SMS is used solely to deliver the messages you opted into. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
